Recently a friend and her daughter started watching one of our favorite animated shows: Owl House. (If you haven’t seen it, go pirate it from somewhere) I told Andy that they were doing this and Andy was SO. EXCITED. When they told us that the second episode was too scary, Andy started watching from the beginning so we could let them know which episodes they might need to skip so they could keep watching it.

In case you couldn’t tell from the podcast, when Andy loves something there’s squeals and jumping and excitement. When Andy loves something they want to share it with everyone. When Andy loves something, they consume it over and over and over again.

Basically, when Andy loves something they let you know.

Sometimes I think I’ve lost that as an adult. Then I remember that Chicago’s Independent Bookstore Day book crawl is coming up and realize I do love something that much.

So the next time you find something you love, let yourself embrace it and share it and show it.
