My Maycember has been relatively light this year.
For those of you not familiar, Maycember is the end of school period that ends up packed with all of the things you need to do for your kids. It’s May, but it’s as busy as December.
In any case, I think it’s been light because I keep forgetting to do things and then having to schedule it all last minute. So looking at the calendar isn’t stressful. But the rush to get all the things done last minute is a quick shot of adrenaline/stress and then it’s over and done.
Have I found a new hack to dealing with Maycember? Maybe. I’m thinking most of my stress comes from looking at a full calendar, so this system seems to have worked out.
Well, that and that we took a week vacation. The time off didn’t hurt and being soaked by a giant waterfall with your family on a boat helps.
I’m sure it’s a Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle approved cure for stress relief.
Happy Reading!
