We’re recording season 2 right now and we’ve kind of hit a wall where Andy wanted to take a break from reading (not recording). We’ve got two books left and both of them are my picks and they didn’t want to read them. I finally got the book from the library and they were very dubious about it. They wanted to read it together.

Now, honestly we did read some of the books from season 2 together. But this book is a Judy Blume book. It’s written for kids. It’s got good spacing and bigger font sizes. The first chapter is 5 pages long. I knew Andy could do it and would love it. I told them to just read the first chapter by themselves last night alone and we could talk about it in the morning.

They came home from school today having read halfway through the book and said “Mom! This book is so good!”

The moral of the story - Mom is always right. At least about books.

Now if only I could get them to remember that for the next book.

Anyways. Get excited for season 2. The first episode features the amazing Alexis Cooke and her hilarious son and will be out May 9th.
