I missed a mewsletter a couple of weeks ago. The busyness got to me. We’ve had lots of camps and traveling and visitors. It’s been fun but I’m kind of looking forward to back to school now. I feel like that hits earlier and earlier every year. Not sure if Andy’s looking forward to it as much as I am though.

I realized a dream this summer, we went to The Last Bookstore while we were visiting friends in LA. A maze of a bookstore converted from a bank. Andy was not impressed by the books in a bank safe or the maze, but once they found a Dog Man book they lost track of time and I had to pull them away. (I ended up with a new (used) Rainbow Rowell book).

And then as a bonus we ended up at The Ripped Bodice where Alexis convinced me to pick up A Stage Set for Villains (Ok, it didn’t take much convincing). We had a wonderful time looking at all the books we wanted to take home, but alas there was only so much room in my carry on bag.

Someday I’ll get a pocket dimension to hold all the books I want to get on vacation.
